Fatima : you are currently leading a Lean Six Sigma Project aiming at reducing Vehicle Registration Cycle Time. Can you tell us more about it?
F.B. : Historical customer surveys had reported the need to improve our vehicle delivery cycle time. A close look at the whole delivery process using a Lean approach highlighted strong variations at the registration stage. A deeper statistical analysis of that particular step allowed to identify root causes for delays which have since been adressed.
What results did you achieve so far?
F.B. : We reduced the average registration cycle time from 4 to 3 days and achieved the elimination of 10 days from the longest registrations, which our customers have definitely felt the benefits of as confirmed by our most recent survey.
